vase and a small clay jar—items you could find in every home, sitting on the shelf of an old cupboard at grandmother’s house. They carry the scent of dried herbs, homemade jam, and the gentle coolness of a quiet countryside home on a summer day.

These objects don’t just stand side by side—they converse. The transparent glass catches the sunlight, while the clay preserves the warmth of familiar hands. In every reflection, in every highlight, there’s a memory: grandfather bringing fresh berries from the garden, grandmother pouring milk into a jug.

This painting speaks of simple joys, of an unhurried life where every morning began with the scent of freshly baked bread, and every evening ended with stories by the wood-burning stove.. It is part of the "Country" series, in which I return to my roots—to memories of a rural childhood, where even the most modest things were filled with warmth and love.
